Here is how to make a healthy natural belly slimming detox water recipe to help you lose a few extra pounds around your tummy. You will be using all-natural ingredients for this recipe, most of which I am sure you already have in your kitchen.

So it all started after I had my son a few years ago, I was diagnosed with prediabetes, high blood pressure, and iron deficiency! I knew I had to do something because I was soo overweight, moving around was next to impossible. I went to see a dietician and she created a diet plan for me to reduce my blood sugar levels and blood pressure.
Along with the diet plan, she also gave me the following belly-slimming recipe which to this day, I am extremely grateful for because it really helped me lose weight. Now, just to be clear, this drink alone will not help you lose weight, you really need to follow a healthy, low-calorie diet plan. That said, here is your recipe.
- 1 inch of ginger root (peeled and sliced)
- 5 cups of water
- 1 lemon/ lime (peeled and sliced into cubes)
- 10 fresh mint leaves
- 1 medium cucumber (sliced)
Preparation & Consumption
You can watch the complete process above or you can follow this: Boil 1 cup of water and add in the ginger, let it boil for 7 minutes, and add in the lemons, leave it to boil for an extra 3 minutes before removing it from the heat. Add in 2 glasses of water and pour it into a high-speed blender, blend until all the ingredients turn into liquid.
Strain the mixture and set it aside or pour it into a large pitcher. Add in the cucumber and mint leaves and set it in the fridge overnight. Drink this mixture 3 times per day preferably 30 minutes before meals.

So what does this have to do with belly fat? Well, in most people, we tend to gain weight around the belly area first and when you start a diet a weight loss drink, it starts to clean out the colon of excess waste and water, therefore, making you lose belly fat first.

To get the best results out of this belly-slimming recipe, you will need to follow a low-calorie diet plan, drink up to 8 glasses of water daily and make sure to incorporate a little bit of exercise into your daily routine at least 4 times per week. In my case, I was put on a 45-minute walk every single day!
